Differences between ST-A 2.0 and ST-A 3.0:

Improved on the already excellent design of best selling ST-A 2.0
ST-A 3.0 cutting edge is finely and precisly cut by a new generation of CNC machines
Smaller than ST-A 2.0 in the drop between the edge and the blunt side
Even smoother cutts with the new mirror type cutting edge

Caution:

sharp blade keep away from children
for plastic only - do not use on metal or other materials
inspect and readjust the distancing grub screw as needed to prevent the blade getting damaged by the blunt side of the nipper

So I just got the 3.0 over the 2.0 and what a difference. Don't bother with Tamiya or Godhand these are both budget friendly and excellent cut, I use it on gunpla and it cuts very close and barely any nub left.

Its a little longer handle than the 2.0 and not sure how long the blade will last before it dulls, but it seems solid enough and a bit more fragile than the 2.0 so I should think "dont drop it" but you shouldnt be doing that at all with any nippers like this. But at the end of the day you get a nice box, the cloth, adjustment tool and an awesome pair of cutters that I can't fault. If these are available just grab them.
